Why not read a summary of proceedings from the 2019 Workshop:
Prior to the Annual Meeting, the association held its popular annual Early Career Researchers Workshop. This is targeted at Clinical Fellows /PhD Students, Clinical Lecturers, Intermediate Fellows and Research Active Consultants within the first five years of their appointment as consultant.
The session proved extremely lively and interactive with a line-up of speakers addressing some key cross-cutting issues across research disciplines. Robert Semple, Professor of Translational Molecular Medicine, University of Edinburgh, Scotland, welcomed around 60 early researchers gathered to hear experts and senior editors of medical journals share thoughts and lead discussion around research integrity and publication ethics.
