TRAVEL

Information to help you plan your journey to APAM 2020.

VENUE

The Saïd Business School
Park End St
Oxford
OX1 1HP

The Saïd Business School, Park End Street Site is located in Oxford city centre and therefore we strongly recommend using public transport.

The easiest way to visit the Business School is by train. The entrance to the Business School is a 5 minute walk and located directly adjacent to Oxford rail station. Alternatively, there are a number of efficient park and ride sites at strategic points around the city, offering delegates easy and environmentally friendly access to the city centre and the Park End Street venue.

By car
We don’t recommend travelling by car, but if you need to there are car parks in the city centre.
Unfortunately, the is no car parking on-site at the School, however, if you have any accessibility requirements please contact us so that special arrangements can be made.

There are a number of car parks in the city centre in close proximity to Park End Street including:

  • Oxpens car park, postcode: OX1 1RQ
  • Worcester Street car park, postcode: OX1 2BQ
  • Gloucester Green car park, postcode: OX1 2BN

For Sat Nav devices please use: OX1 1HP

By train
The Park End Street venue is located adjacent to the train station.
There is a direct mainline service between Oxford, London and Birmingham. From Heathrow Airport there is a fast train link to London Paddington which connects directly with services to Oxford.

By coach from London, Heathrow or Gatwick
There is a regular coach service (X70) from both airports to Oxford city centre. Taxis are available at the Gloucester Green Bus Station, although Park End Street is just a short walk away. Visit the Oxford Bus Company website for more information.

If you wish to book a taxi in advance, the Business School recommends two car companies:

For long journeys, Courtesy Cars, an Oxford-based company, on +44 (0)1865 343575. Their approximate charge from Heathrow and Gatwick is £75 and £105 respectively.

For local journeys, Royal Cars on +44 (0)1865 777333.
