Part 1: Clinical academic training: challenges and opportunitiesExploiting opportunities and building career resilience in the time of COVID-19 – A workshop for early career clinical translational researchers

The Association of Physicians of Great Britain and Ireland invites you to view the first of our 2-part webinar series on clinical academic training during the COVID-19 pandemic.

COVID-19 has a major impact on the clinical academic landscape in the UK and elsewhere. Clinical academic trainees are facing challenges such as redeployment into clinical services and disruption of experimental and clinical research due to COVID-19 related restrictions. There are, however, opportunities that arise from the current situation.

This webinar explores how two clinical academic trainees adapted to the ongoing challenges and hear statements by key players in the fields of translational research and research funding.
